As we go to print, spring is on our doorstep or already here with the recent spell of gloriously fine and sunny weather. We don’t seem to remember a mild winter like the one we just had and, although a few of us hate the long summer months, it will certainly be nice to feel the hot sun warming and drying out our homes.
 
This time round, houses feature elements of untapped beauty in this issue of Design & Décor. The magazine is full of bright ideas, modern and traditional, fine gardens, good food, wine and even art. An interesting article on page 14 by interior designer Kenneth Tanti talks about the love of marble.
